       Tintern is set at the southern end of the Wye Valley, on the A466 between Monmouth and Chepstow.  Surrounded by steep wooded hillsides, alongside the winding River Wye.

       The village stretches for approximately 1 mile,  from the Abbey, in the south, to Tintern Old Station, in the north.

       Parva Farmhouse is situated towards the northern end of the village, next to St. Michael’s Churchyard on the river side.

HOW TO FIND US

       From the north - Tintern is approx. 10 miles south of Monmouth on the A466.  Pass the Old Station and we are the first building on the left.

       From the south - Tintern is approx. 6 miles north of Chepstow on the A466.  As you enter the village, pass the Abbey on your right, and proceed for ¾ mile and we are the last building on the right as you leave the village.

       The car park is between the guesthouse and the river, look out for the concealed driveway.
